My inside activities were reading or drawing. until we got a home PC and the internet when I was 9 or so. Then I was inside a lot more. But still out of the house doing activities any day it wasn't too cold. There were times for TV or games. But they were in common areas in the house. And there were limits. That being said, knowing now that RC initiated it I have more doubt that this guy meant any harm (though if he initiated it any time afterwards, knowing these things came up, that would be a little weird). Also, I don't think a month is really that long of a time when you've first met somebody. A lot of new couples might see each other only a few times in that period. If it's somebody you're hanging out with all the time, or maybe that you knew as a friend beforehand? Yeah, I understand that a month is definitely a long time in that case. Thinking a month is too soon? Yes. Let's go by whatever has been the norm in media in the last couple decades. It's so done it's a trope: Third date is sex date Go on one date a week, which is pretty reasonable when you don't know someone so well, and you're having sex within a few weeks. Unless you really infrequently see someone. Then maybe that third date goes after a month. And you could be looking for someone serious and still have sex in that time frame. There's really no good reason to be hung up on it when both parties are interested. What it would suggest to me if someone was surprised at sex in that timeframe is that the person is sex averse or has different values. and that may be an indicator it's not a good match for me. --- Never write off the Doctor!

I was doing ok and just reached a point where it felt like everything was sinking. We were together much longer than a month at that point too. It's really shitty this happened. Any of you shaming that the sex was too soon, get over yourselves. You're clearly out of touch with how things progress between people in romantic situations. There's nothing wrong with both parties wanting to explore things sexually within a month and you'll find waiting a month is not close to the norm. --- Never write off the Doctor!

Save hundreds of animals each year. It's rewarding but I'm always stressed about the lack of money. Veterinarians have one of the highest rates of suicide out there for any career. and with the cost and barrier to entry to becoming a vet, even the ones that do make good money take a long time to get comfortable. They're not making 150k here. You want to help prisoners that don't have anyone to believe in them? I bet that help would have been great when they were young, before they entered the system. Keeping them safe and helping them feel like they belong before they're doing things to get incarcerated, there you go. That's helping. --- Never write off the Doctor!
